What medications do you take for your asthma?
Author: I take Zyrtec-D, Nasonex and Advair (250/50 once daily). I did take Singulair but stopped without any noticable changes to my allergies or peak flow/asthma. I also have an Albuterol Inhaler but haven’t used it since I started taking Advair in 10/2004. I also get allergy shots and have been for over 2 years. I was told to continue getting allergy shots for 4-5 years. I’ve heard allergy shots also help asthma - any truth to that? If so, could one stop taking Advair to see if it is still necessary? Just curious……
What tests are given to determine asthma? Can those tests determine how bad the asthma is? I have never been given any tests, just medication.
How do you get depression medication when you’re broke?
I have not been diagnosed with depression. But I have been asking to go to the doctor for several years now to be checked for depression and my mom refused to take me or pay for any of this. (I basically know that I am, I guess I just need a professional’s assurance.) Now I’m 18 and have NO extra money whatsoever to go see a doctor, let alone pay for medication if diagnosed. I don’t know anything about insurance. Help!
What is the best way to deal with depression?
I have started medication for depression just yesterday so I need to give it a few weeks to start fully working.
I always feel down. Like no one cares about me and I feel like I want to be alone all the time. I hate social interaction, even with my husband and daughter. I used to love being with friends and family. Now I have no friends.
I am always sleepy. No amount of sleep makes me feel rested.
How can I help a friend whose spouse is going through depression?
My friend’s spouse is going through a bad depression (they are getting help from a doctor and medication). My friend, however, is a terrible worrywart even when things are perfect. My friend is prone to anxiety and obsessive worrying.
What can I do to help my friend cope? I am scared that BOTH of them going to end up in a depression!
How do I get rid of swelling in my eyes and the bridge of my nose?
I have a sinus infection and have be on medication for a couple days and I guess it takes a few days to start working. My eyes and nose are swollen. How do I get rid of it?
