Do you know any home remedies or tricks for asthma?
Author: My daughter has severe asthma. This time of year it gets really bad. She is on Advair 2 times a day, Singulair once a day, Claritin once a day, Albuterol inhaler when needed, and an Albuterol Nebulizer 2 times a day. After all that she still has a lot of trouble off and on. Does anyone know any home remedies like I know coffee is supposed to help but it's hard to get her to drink it while it's hot like she's supposed to. I know obviously to take her to the ER when it's really bad, but if I can take care of it at home I want to try, b/c we have no insurance and her meds alone are 400.00 per month. Thanks for any ideas that work!
What can be taken for people that have asthma but have no inhalor?
Okay, so my mom's boyfriend has asthma but he does not have insurance so he can't get the inhalor. And at the pharmacy they gave him some Vick's Vapor Rub but it didn't do anything. Does anyone have a good way to get him a little better?
How soon can an ectopic pregnancy be detected with a specialized sonogram?
Is waiting six weeks after the first day of your last period best, or is taking a risk to wait if there are already signs? I am barely at 30 days, but testing negative for pregnancy with pains in abdomen/ lower back. Doctor wants a sono of the pelvic area. I am waiting for my husband's insurance to kick in too.
What are the symptoms of a tubal pregnancy?
A friend of mine has not had her period for over three months. She tests every two weeks and the pregnancy results always come back negative. However, she is concerned that she might have a tubal pregnancy, which-from what I hear-are not shown on a pregnancy test-false readings. She hasn't any signs or anything. However, she does not have insurance and does not want to go to the doctor or hospital unless if she has too-if she has a tubal pregnancy she knows this must be taken care of immediately since this is life-threatening. I neek to know the signs so she and I can be aware of them. Is there a gradual showing of symptoms or do they come at once? Also, how long after conception do these symptoms appear?
How much would childbirth be without insurance of any kind?
I was just wondering if anyone in the US/America has gone through childbirth completely without any type of insurance. Did you go to a hospital, or another set-up? How much was the costs? Is there any help available for such situations?
