How long do you bleed after childbirth? And how much pain?
I'm having labor induced in a few days, and my doctor doesn't bother to explain anything to me. I was wondering how long I should expect to bleed after childbirth, and how heavy is the bleeding - compared to a menstrual cycle?
Also… I know there will be pain… but is it more like sharp pains or more like cramps? How long does that usually last? Will a heating pad help ease the pain?
Whats the difference between depression and boredom?
These past few days I’ve been trying to figure out whats wrong with me.
But i still can’t even figure out if i even have a problem, I guess I’m just trying to find something to do. But the only thing is, I cant do anything that use to interest me anymore. Which brings me back to my question (what is the difference between depression and boredom?). If anyone can can tell me what they think please don’t hesitate or hold back on commenting.
What goes on mentally/psychologically while you’re recovering from a severe asthma attack?
A shy coworker had a severe asthma attack and you watched her fighting for each breath until the ambulance came to take her to the hospital. She was out for a few days and then returned to work. She's always been quiet and fairly shy, but her first day back she was even more so.

What kind of foods can I eat with mono and swollen glands?
I have mono, and my glands are very swollen. They are starting to go down, but the only thing I've been able to eat in the last few days is ice cream, and in all honesty, I'm sick of it. Never though you'd hear a teenager say that. It just seems like junk food is the only thing that I'm able to eat without irritating my glands and causing more inflimation. What kind of foods can I eat that won't irritate my glands?
How long after sex till I get an accurate result on a home pregnancy test?
I had unprotected sex two weeks ago tonight (Sunday). I took plan B the next evening (Monday) and then started on a regular birth control pill the day after (Tuesday). I just want to make sure I'm not pregnant. I know you're generally supposed to wait till you miss your period, but I won't know if I'll miss it until two more weeks from now.
I don't HAVE to wait till I miss my period, do I? Can I take a test a few days from now and get an accurate result?
