What causes that burning feeling in your eyes?
Author: Sometimes when my contacts are in my eyes too long and get dry, my eyes just start to burn and it really hurts! And one time I put in eye drops in them to relieve the discomfort but it just made my eyes burn even more! Why is that?
How do you minimize dust and irritation to the eyes when you’re living in a polluted and dusty city?
I'm currently working in Africa and the city where I live is very polluted. This is affecting my already sensitive eyes a lot and they are permanantly red and irritated. I use Patinol eye drops, but it doesn't really seem to help with the redness and irritation. What else can I do?
Why do you need to remove contact lenses before using allergy eye drops?
I just want to know if there are any bad effects to using them while they are on. I have used allergy eye drops a few times with contacts on, but now I try not to. Any information would be great!
Is it okay to use allergy eye drops to keep my eyes white if I have pink eye?
I don't want to miss school because I have perfect attendance and can't afford to see a doctor. It is practically harmless and painless. So I don't mind letting it run its course. Also, I wear glasses so having to wear sunglasses over my regular glasses would look stupid. Two drops in each eye keeps my eyes clear for about three hours. So I will have to do this twice a day for the rest of the school week. Is it okay or will it irritate the condition more.
Is it safe to use multipurpose contact lens solution to moisturize my eyes?
My eyes dry up pretty easily while wearing my contact lenses so I've been using my opti-free multipurpose solution as eye drops. I'm reluctant to buy real eye drops or rewetting solution, but I just now thought that maybe I shouldn't be squirting these chemicals into my eyes. What do you think?
