Has anyone used a natural remedy to control their asthma?
I am an adult, with asthma. My triggers are exercise, laughing, colds, allergies. I use my inhaler everyday, which is not good.
I have no insurance to pay for drugs, but I am a member of Rx assistance programs.
I am looking for a natural way of controlling this asthma. I have used homeopathic, but did not stick with it long enough. I gave up too easily , I guess.
Anyone use Respitrol? Anyone have any experience and advice on the matter?
What kind of exercise and how much would be effective to help lose weight? I have asthma.?
I am 5 ft 4 in and 160 lbs. I want to lose 45 lbs. I have asthma and too much exercise stirs it up so I need something that is effective but not too hard. I can walk without it hurting me but does walking do any good and how much should you do?
Can you have exercise induced asthma only when running?
Is it possible to only have asthma when running and not when doing other types of exercise? I’m in summer gym right now and I find myself getting severly out of breath really early on into running the mile but when I exercise on the eliptical bike inside for 45min I don’t feel a thing. When I ride the bike, I do it a high resistance and relativly fast. Could it also be anxiety about running the mile? I already have an anxiety disorder that affects other things but I can’t tell if its just that or if its asthma related.
How do you know if you really have asthma? It seems to be a catchall for any breathing problem.?
I saw a doctor for my chest tightness and he said I probably have asthma. I'm young and in good health. I don't wheeze, I don't cough a lot, it is not related to exercise. I just feel like I can't take a deep breath sometimes, and in certain positions, like when lifting something heavy overhead, I feel more constriction. But my real question is, how do I know if asthma is actually causing my problem? The doctor seems unsure, and I don't want to take meds for the rest of my life, just because it's the doc's best guess. Has anyone else had this problem?
