I have never been allergic to anything ever but loaded with hives - I think they are - (raised itchy welts flesh pink colored) that isn't responding to typical itch creams or calamine. Do doctors test for certain things on my arm or something? Has anyone developed a new allergy later in life from something they never reacted to before? What was the source?

My son has had asthma since he was three years old. The doctors keep telling us that he will grow out of it, he is now twelve. He is on Singulair, Loratadine, and Advair diskus 500/50. He gets pneumonia at least 2 times a year and is hospitalized each time. He seems to get worse in the fall and winter and is all together fine in the summer. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do that will help him in the winter?

Well,the title pretty much gives it away lol.But,anyway,might be allergic to a food or two,but I'm curious about something.If after testing,they are sure you have an allergy to something,what do they do about it?(Food allergies,not things like allergies to grass etc.).Do they just tell you not to eat it anymore or what?Just curious.Thanks everyone.Peace.

I've had depression for several years and have tried 4 different doctors as well as a couple of therapists. I've been on many different medications and had ECT treatments in the past, but nothing really seems to change for me.

It's getting to the point where I find it hard to go on. I feel that someone (a doctor) REALLY needs to focus on me and make me better. My depression is ruining my life, and my wife's. All the doctors so far seem to just say "Oh that didn't work, hmmm try this". I don't think they really understand what they are doing.

I need to see a true expert, can anyone help?

I just thought of this. I take wellbutrin and I worry that it might be effected by hormones. I know that people aren't doctors here, but those with experience, is the drug wellbutrin known to have negative effects with hormone therapy?
