I saw a doctor for my chest tightness and he said I probably have asthma. I'm young and in good health. I don't wheeze, I don't cough a lot, it is not related to exercise. I just feel like I can't take a deep breath sometimes, and in certain positions, like when lifting something heavy overhead, I feel more constriction. But my real question is, how do I know if asthma is actually causing my problem? The doctor seems unsure, and I don't want to take meds for the rest of my life, just because it's the doc's best guess. Has anyone else had this problem?

my kid is 4yrs old and every month, he will be given antibiotics because he has colds eventually leads to cough and asthma. he has maintenance med, (salmeterol+fluticasone propionate, cetirizine) still he cough. I give him also nebulization (combivent). how can he be asthma free? are there herbal med? or natural asthma prevention? my kid is obese. at 4yrs old he is 29kg. and i find it hard to let him on diet because he cant understand what diet is.how can i let him reduce his weight?

i think i have asthma. i always have a cough, when i breath its a short when i inhale, soemtimes when i breath my throat tickles. when i breath in through my mouth it tickles and makes me cough. i know i should go to the doctor but do u think so? and i know i know! i should talk about this with my parents i just wanna know if i do i might not and go there for no reason.
also what is a Respiratory Disease? what dose it do?

i have a bad cough, sometimes when i breath out i start wheezing, when i breath i feel like i still don’t have enough breath and i have to breath in so hard i start shaking. do u think its asthma? and can i just suddenly get asthma?

Some people say that regular use of Pulmicort inhaler may cause coughing, how can I recognize when the coughing is due to Pulmicort or asthma?
