I went to a doctor yesterday that seemed pretty sure I had bronchitis. He prescribed Zithromax (very powerful and supposedly fast-acting) and 20 hours after taking the first pill I'm not feeling any better. I got a total of 6 hours of sleep in the past few days because I keep getting asthma attacks and my lungs are clogged with mucus. I've been coughing every 5 seconds but nothing is breaking up in my chest. I have a very deep rattling noise when I breathe and it gets worse when I lay down. I think my asthma has calmed down a bit after taking doses of albuterol every 4-6 hours. I was wondering if there is something I can do to clear the mucus out of my chest because I won't sleep until I do. Thanks.

I was born with with asthma. Not very bad now, only mild, was worse as a child. I only have asthma attacks in the middle of the night, maybe 1-2 times a month, over the past month it has increased to once a week. I have a inhaler (Albuterol) which does work. Wondering if I need to get a stronger inhaler? Or any other methods I could try to help control my asthma. What are some other meds that I might try?

I already have a prescription Albuterol inhaler, plus tablets, but I would prefer something more natural, something I could take every day to help keep the asthma attacks to a minimum. I hear MSM and Fenugreek are good, and I'd also like to hear about any Ayurvedic and Chinese herbs.

The person had been using ventolin for relief and this has been very expensive as he frequently gets asthma attacks. Where he lives there is pollution and frequent weather change like cold then hot.

I want to know how i can help my friend Kevin Michael Bounds treat his asthma attacks. The one problem is, is that i don't live with him.
