I’m thinking about having a bowel resection? Does it hurt and do you lose weight from your midsection after?

Author: I have severe constipation and my doctor is recommending that I have a bowel resection. I'm 32 and scared of this surgery because it might require me to have a temporary colostomy. I have been dealing with severe constipation since a child so I'm ready to remedy myself of this problem. It has caused me to be sluggish, tired and severe stomach distention. Only people that have had this surgery or know someone answer this question please. Thanks.

Need help to avoid finger stimulation for bowel movement?
I got used to finger stimulation for bowel movement. Now iam in a situation that with out finger stimulation i cant poo. Do any one have the same problem or iam the only one in the world facing this problem . Can any one suggest a remedy for this problem?
How to have smooth bowel movements?
i have not been able to have a smooth bowel movements in the morning for a long time now.
i always have to go several times during the day.
