Taking iron daily usually constipates people, but it seems to make me have more regular bowel movements?

I take iron every day, as I am occasionally anemic. i take Slow FE brand. I take it once in the AM and once in the PM. Usually iron constipates people, however, it seems to make me more ‘regular.’ When I take it I have one bowel movement a day. When I am not taking iron, its like one every 2-3 days, which I know sounds bad, but that is regular for me…I am not complaining. I am just wondering if this is normal or if anyone else has experienced this?

How does ones body react so quickly? Naturally this is caused when some people are nervous and/or anxious but what are the logistics behind this?

Is it normal to feel sick after sex? And to even have bowel problems?

Sometimes my stomach is upset after sex. Usually after I eat so I sometimes have to wait a long time after I eat to have sex. And recently after sex I had bowel problems and even had to miss work. Does this happen to other people or should I see a doctor or is it no big deal?

Why do some people go so long between bowel movements?

Men especially. I know so many guys who say they go 3 or 4 days without sitting on the bowl, and that's just not right. You should be having at least one (and sometimes two) bowel movements per day. If you're constipated, you should be seeking treatment anyway.

A couple of teaspoons of olive oil per day helps to keep the intestinal tract smooth and is a natural laxative, among the hundreds of other health benefits it has.

Gotta keep cleansing your body of all that filfth and sludge that builds up inside your intestines.

Wishing happy and healthy bowel movements to all.
