What causes nausea after a bowel movement?

Author: I have fairly frequent nausea after a bowel movement.
The bowel movements seem normal, but I have awful nausea that lasts for a good few hours.
Anyone know a possible cause? I have told my doctor and being refered to a specialist, but the wait list is so long!!!
