movements? When I eat and my digestive sytem works, and I have bowel movements, I am in very bad pain, like baby contractions each time. Is this to be expected? I had my operation 8 days ago. I have to breath through the contraction like pains and am wondering how long they will continue? I know I have lots of internal stiches as well as external and it all takes time to heal. I would appreciate any others experiences on this. Thank you.

My sister -19 years old haven't had any bowel movements 10 days now, and her belly is hard and tendered, but she says she has an appetite to eat. She also says her belly doesn't hurt, and she feels no pain. But extremely uncomfortable because its too hard and tendered.

What could be the cause, or what does it sound like to you? Any expert advices or experiences would be appreciated.
