How old do you have to be to develop colon cancer?

Author: I'm 22 years old and I'm having some problems. I have streaks of blood in my stools and I;m having a hard time going to the bathroom. I keep getting constipated. I eat fiber rich oatmeal and fiber bars almost everyday and I still have issues. I'm constantly bloated and gassy. Could this be colon cancer?

What is the difference between anal cancer and colon cancer?
I was reading a story that Farrah Fawcet has anal cancer. I thought we called it colon cancer or is there a difference?

has anyone had the laproscopic surgery for colon cancer?
My doctor is planning on doing the laproscopic surgery for colon cancer and I was wondering if anyone in here had had this?
Is it possible that there may be internal hemorrhoids that cause blood to appear during defecation?
Could be colon cancer?
Note that the blood appears on the anus but not on the feces.
Also the hemorrhoids are not external (are not visible)

If my family has a history of colon cancer, how early should I start getting tested?
My mom had colon cancer and I was just wondering if there was a certain age that it is recommended I should get checked out.
