(I am going to be having a colonoscopy, but I am wondering whether this is mostly likely cancer, or is it mostly likely something else?)

grandson is 3 and a half and has sensory defunction/autism and there are time he get really upset whem he needs to have a bowel movment and then he gets consitaped. what do you sugest.

Has anyone else experienced this? I have two boys who are both smart and confident children (I don’t normally brag because I think it is obnoxious and doesn’t benefit them to constantly hear how wonderful they are) that sometimes act extremely silly/borderline naughty an hour or two before they need to have a bowel movement. It seems like they can’t control their silliness when this occurs and it becomes a problem if we are someplace like a sport activity or a Scout meeting. Any ideas? Serious answers would be greatly appreciated.
It is similar to how most children act when they lack sleep (mine both still nap and they are 5 & 7). If they haven’t eaten in awhile or they eat sugary food that has burned off my kids also act silly in a similar manner (low blood sugar….similar to the hormone answer???). Anyone?

I’m not looking for an alternative to go to the gym. I do more than my fair share of exercise. I’m just wondering because people tend to lose weight either from purposely continuously taking laxatives or from a digestive disorder.

Or do you think that people just read because they are bored while waiting…I do tend to believe it helps move the process along for whatever reason but was wondering if there is a scientific answer as to why?
