Can the usage of antibiotics cause bowel disease?

Author: My father was on antibiotics (containing Spiramycin) for a week and right after that he’s started complaining about blood in stools.He’s going to a doctor tomorrow,but I was wondering,could these two be interconnected?

I have a bowel disease, can i still join the Australian Defence Force?
I’m 19 and i have a bowel disease called have Ulcerative Colitis. It is completely under control, i have had no symptoms for over 2 years. My bowels work just as well as anyone else’s. However i take 4 tablets on a daily basis. Does this mean i can’t join the army? Does anyone know anyone in the army with a bowel disease?

MMR controversy: What is the proposed link between Bowel disease and autism?
I can find plenty of information on the internet evidence that attempts to disprove the link, but I don't actually know what the link itself is.
Would someone mind explaining, in relatively simple terms, how Bowel disease causes autism?
