I have my period and am having bad cramps, tired, and painful urination and bowel movements. Especially, the BM are very painful - they even make me somewhat dizzy and lightheaded.
I have had this pain before, but it seems worse this time compared to previously.

Is this normal? Anyone have the same problem?

My BM is every 3-5 days. Do I need a colon cleanse? If so, what should I do?

After my appendectomy i have changed my diet to eating a lot of fiber so as not to get constipated as i have heard many people do. For some reason when i have a BM though it is very much larger than normal and very very painful. Why have i never had BM's this large and painful until after surgery? I'm scared to even go to the restroom now! And as far as hemorhoids go i do have them and this is definately not helping at all!

I was just informed today by my doctor that during my laproscropy two weeks ago he saw that my bowel(s) was stuck to the side from my last surgery, a lapotomy cystectomy, in January. He said the scarring from the endometrosis made it stick. He said that I would have to have surgery to remove it from there. Would that explain why I've had pain, cramping, and diarrhea when I'm having a BM since January? I won't know for sure about the surgery until Aug. 4th, but it's a definite possibility that I will have it. Would anyone know the recovery time from this particular surgery? What would they have to do to remove it from the side? Is there anywhere on the web where I can find a video of this surgery? Is this type of thing unusual? Has it happened before? Anything else I need to know that I didn't cover here? Thank you!

I usually get in at least 2, and sometimes 3 a day. A friend of mine said she only poops about once every 3 days! That doesn’t seem normal. I think the docs say you should have a good BM at least once a day.

How about you? How many bowel movements do you have per day?
