What is the recovery time for an ileocecectomy for six inches of small bowel?

Will I lose weight afterwards?

Will I feel independent after the three day hospital stay? I live alone and enjoy being alone. Any tips? Suggestions?

I have a ten year old ulcerated stricture of the ilieum from crohns disease which does not hurt me but was involved in a horrific flare in Nov. Otherwise I eat everything I want and am painfree.

How long does it take for a food you ate to become a bowel movement?

From the moment you put the food in your mouth till you go to the bathroom. How much time is it?

How can I stop having incomplete bowel movements?

I usually go one to two times a day. However recently, I have been going a lot and after I go I feel gassy and feel like I didn't empty my stomach completely. And also when I go, my poo is really small. I know that this is kinda disgusting, but I hope you can help.

What determines the diameter of a bowel movement?

Obviously the type of food you eat and water intake are two factors. But if you are on a consistent diet how come the diameter will vary?
