How do you make hemorrhoids go away?

Author: I think I might have a hemmorrhoid. It's really small. How do I make it go away?

What type of a doctor i should see if i suspect that i have hemorrhoids?
I was thinking of a specialist i.e a dermatologist?
Can we cure hemorrhoids without applying any treatments of any sorts?
I mean will it vanish naturally? or is itonce it is there it will be there for ever without any chances of getting it out?
Is ti safe to use a public swimming pool if you have internal hemorrhoids?
I feel silly asking this question, but it would put my mind at ease if I were to get an informed answer.

what is the surgery like to remove internal hemorrhoids?
I went to the dr today and had an exam. He said I have some pretty bad internal hemorrhoids and I should pry have them removed. I'm going to my surgeon (the man who did my appendectomy a month ago) on january 13th and I want to know the pros and cons of surgery and what kind of surgery would it be? Do they put me out and I go in an operating room or is it less serious? thanks
