it is recommended that one eats 25-30 grams of fiber a day. try to go buy activia it regulates your digestive system in 2 weeks and actually works. also incoporate benefiber in your diet, its a great supplement the best out there i think. eat foods like beans and other fiber rich foods you can probably look it up online. also eat high fiber cereals.

    dulcolax or however its spelt
    get stool softener
    drink prune juice but not
too much because it can mess with
    your kidneys…just get stool softeners
you can eat wheaties or bran flakes
    bran always helps go easier

you can try taking a multivitamin that helps with digestion in addition to eating high fiber foods

I'd like to suggest eating grapefruits and papaya. I like to add 1-2 cups of water, 1- 2 peeled grapefruits, and a slice of papaya. You should get about 4 cups out of this but take your time and drink it through out the day until you are able to drink it all at one time. You should be able to go a lot smoother about 5-8 hours later that day. Pitted prunes are also good and you should try eating about 5 a day. If grapefruit has too much acid than you should try eating/drinking it every other day. Although fiber in your diet is needed it's not always a good thing if your having trouble with your bowel movements. Try eating less fiber and more fruits and vegetable for a while until your digestive system gets back in shape. Good luck, I really hope this helps.
