What causes nausea after a bowel movement?

I have fairly frequent nausea after a bowel movement.
The bowel movements seem normal, but I have awful nausea that lasts for a good few hours.
Anyone know a possible cause? I have told my doctor and being refered to a specialist, but the wait list is so long!!!

It could potentially be narrowing of the intestines, or something as simple as a lack of fiber in your diet. The specialist will no doubt find what is causing this, but for now you may wish to try a medical forum online.
