i think it does. exercise increases metabolism, and people who exercise have more regular bowel movments than those who dont. whe ni go for a run, and i hvaent pooped yet, it comes always, doesnt it? lol
what might disprove your theory though, is that when i go for days without sleep (or even one), i poop like every 2 hours, and i dont htink that my metabolism has gone up
Metabolism is basically the sum of all the chemical reactions that occur within the body (according to biology). In other words, it refers to the cells themselves, and how fast they burn ingested glucose. While metabolism may have an affect on bowel movement, the rate itself depends more on the diet of an individual. If a person eats a lot of fibre (roughage), they will go more frequently as fibre can’t be broken down by the human digestive system. As such, it serves to clean out the small intestine thus removing many saturated fats and other harmful substances that may have adverse health affects. Overall, the proper foods can lead to regular bowel movements; the key is to avoid overly saturated ones as these could lead to constipation.
Pew man. Have a doctor check the size of your anus, man. In the mean time try not to take wide steps, ok?

i think that it does. drinking alot of green tea, which is said to boost metabolism, causes bowel movements.
