Why when I have a bowel movement, my stool is very pale in color?

I don’t know what it means to have pale stool, but it worries me? Lately I have had stomach pain in my lower right side. Sometimes I feel nauseated, with headaches and dizziness. I don’t think its appendicitis( Because my pain comes and goes, but it’s a dull achy pain and sometimes it’s stabbing) I would like some help figuring out whats wrong with me?

Sometimes pale poop can be caused by a lack of bile in your stool. I think you should have your gallbladder checked out. Here is an article about pale stool:

Have you been taking antacids like tums? They can cause pale stools.

i think it’s something to do with your liver…you should really go see a doctor.

there was one episode of oprah with doctor oz and he talked about it. maybe you can look it up on youtube. i didn’t really need it so i didn’t really remember…sorry hope everything turns out ok for you!

You could have gallstones or biliary dyskinesia if you’re having right sided abdominal pain, nausea, and pale stool. The real issue, if you are having pale stool, is that you likely have something preventing the breakdown products of bilirubin from reaching your gut. It’s those bilirubin breakdown products that gives feces a brown color. Sometimes hepatitis or other liver problems can cause this as well. Ultimately, you need to be checked out. There are a LOT of conditions that can cause pale stool. And several of the things that can cause it are not particularly good and should be treated.

usually related to gallbladder. get an ultrasound done for stones, see your doctor. gallbladder is upper right side, under ribs, in back.liver in front, but your pain is referred pain as it radiates/extends away from the gallbladder to your lower r side. I’ve not had pt have gallbladder and appendicitis at the same time nor done surgical cases for two of these types of disorders, also search "pale bowel movement" on yahoo.
grey color acc to yahoo referred to pancreatic disorder. you would have other indications than what you are asking. probably need gallbladder either medical treatment or removed surgically.
