How do u know if you have bowel cancer?

Im getting bleeding from downstairs, but have no pain or itching that would point toward piles, which i’ve had before. Also the bottom part of my spine hurts and want to know if you can link it to my bleeding? I think i’ve lost half a stone but am not sure as im skinny anyway and never watch my weight. The bleeding has only occured twice and doesn’t happen evert time i go to the toilet and ultimately i hate doctors and won’t go unless i think its serious. If you could help me i would appreciate it.

Bleeding from the back passage (rectum) or blood in your stools
A change in normal bowel habits towards diarrhoea or looser stools that lasts longer than 6 weeks
A lump that your doctor can feel in the right side of your abdomen, or in your rectum
A straining feeling in the rectum
    Losing weight
Pain in your abdomen or rectum
Anaemia (a low level of red blood cells)
Because bowel tumours can bleed at times, cancer of the bowel often causes a shortage of red blood cells. This is called anaemia. It can lead to tiredness and sometimes breathlessness.

All these symptoms can be caused by other diseases, apart from cancer. Many of these other conditions are much less serious than bowel cancer, such as piles (haemorrhoids), infections or inflammatory bowel disease. If you are young and have bleeding from the back passage with itching and soreness, you are much more likely to have piles than bowel cancer. Also, many people with colorectal cancer don’t have these symptoms. So always ask your family doctor if you are worried about any symptoms that you have.

rectal bleeding can be a symptom of a tumor in your large intestine. that with the pain you are having i would definatly get checked out. they would probably start with a ct scan then a colonoscopy to take a look. good luck
