I have just been diagnosed with Irretible Bowel Syndrome, and was wondering if i can drink alcohol?

Author: I was diagnosed with a variation of ibs. im ment to stay away from fatty, spicey and acidic foods, but was wondering about alcohol. if i can drink any what is the best, i dont think i’l be able to deal with it if it flares up really bad again. thank you.

Alcohol is irritating to the GI tract. If you can’t abstain at least limit your intake. What is the best alcohol? Honey, alcohol is alcohol period.

no you should it will cause more irratation it will be prob worse than the spicey food
