I’ve been told that you’re supposed to poop 3 times per day. Aside from eating vegetables all day, what can you do to get those 3 poops? Is there some sort of SAFE cleanser/laxative that can be taken daily?
How about just answering the question and not pointing out spelling errors!!
Try metamucil. Most doctors recommend it. You can take it in pill form or a powder you mix with water. It is mostly fiber.
FIBER! LOTS OF FIBER!
you could try adding more fiber into your diet
You could ENSURE them from happening by starting a fiber regimen and watching your diet. You could INSURE them, as your question asks, perhaps by going to State Farm or Geico?
apples and bananas…. seriously.
Oatmeal for breakfast, maybe some extra fruit during the day
How about a Mexican bean burrito, that might do it.
I think 3 times a day is asking too much.
Once per day is good enough, maybe twice better, but I really don’t think you need 3 times a day.
wow, 3 times a day huh? I guess I don’t get my daily recommedended poops in. I have always heard to eat alot of fiber. Such as bran flakes or beans.
"Daily Recommended Bowel Movements"?!?!? you’re kidding?
just eat right with plenty of fiber and drink 8 glasses of water per day. If you’re still constipated see a Doc
I wouldn’t take laxatives on a regular basis. That’s medicine to be used when you’re sick, not an everyday supplement.
Try choking down those veggies anyway, or taking fiber supplements.
BY TAKING LOTS OF FIBER.
Many people take daily fiber supplements such as Metamucil or Benefiber. They really do work. I had to take them during my second trimester of pregnancy because constipation happens when you are pregnant.
Dunkin Donuts med. regular hot, 20 min. before you want action
Ensure. One poop a day is fine…3 is excessive…if I pooped 3 times a day I would worry!
FIBER, lots of it. Bananas are a good source
Baby..why would you want to INSURE your poop? LOL !
Where did you get the idea that you need 3 bowel movements a day?
But if you seriously want to up your fiber sprinkle flax meal on salads and into your cereal. You can even use it for a breading substitute and in meatloaf.
3 bowel movements per day is a bit excessive. I do not know where you heard such a thing. If a person is having 1-3 bowel movements per day they are considered healthy. If you are not having 1 per day then you should consider revising your diet. Try adding fiber if you do not seem to be getting enough, if you are already getting above the recommended dose, cut down on fiber. Stay hydrated at all times. Eat enough food for your body. Starving yourself is one of the top issues to not having bowel movements (obviously.) Good luck!
drink apple juice daily
You can take over-the-counter fiber supplements such as fiber-con or metamucil.
Eat a Bowl of bran flakes or Raisin Bran’s,My Husband does not go a day without his bran flakes!
Who the hell told you that?
Fecal matter is composed of the solids that your body cannot break down. If you are eating a healthy diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, etc., your body will have very little solid waste to expell. If you’re having three bowel movements a day you’re probably eating alot of "garbage" that your body isn’t using/can’t use. Nobody "needs" a bowel movement every day - as long as you’re able to have one when you need it (not constipated) you’re fine.
You shouldn’t rely on medications - increase fiber and fluid intake.
You also need to retrain yourself to respond to the urge when it strikes you - it means dashing to the toilet a lot of times, just to see what comes out (or doesn’t). Believe me I know how awkward this is, how socially problematic it is - but know more than enough about the alternative - constipation and anal fissures - which is worse.
