What causes one to have nervous bowel movements?

How does ones body react so quickly? Naturally this is caused when some people are nervous and/or anxious but what are the logistics behind this?

When you get nervous, the body releases small amounts of adrenaline. Adrenaline speeds up your bowels, based on how much adrenaline is released. For example, when someone skydives or fears for their life, they might poop their pants because large amounts have been released. And when you are slightly nervous, you feel the need to go, just not before you can make it to the toliet.
Thus, the logistics behind nervous poopers.
