Does more frequent bowel movements mean higher metabolism?
I’ve been exercising a lot recently, and now I am having way more frequent bowel movements. The only one problem is that the bowel movements are always liquidy…diarrhea i guess. So i was wondering if this is a result of my body adjusting to a higher metabolism? I don’t know much about that stuff. Also I should add that i’ve been taking Hydroxycut for weight loss during my exercise and dieting. Also I should add that I’ve been eating Raison Bran cereal in the day…maybe the milk or fiber could be causing it?

Several reasons for changes in bowel movements:
1. Exercising has improved the flow of your system.
2. Your diet has changed. Drastic changes or a sudden increase in fiber consumption will cause diarrhea at first.
3. Hydroxycut contains caffeine which forces liquid out of your system, causing the watery stools.
If you continue your plan, your body will get accustomed to the changes and your trips to the bathroom will be regular and normal. I started a weight loss plan a few months ago, and now I have to go to the bathroom at 10-11am every day without fail. I used to go nearly 3 days without a bowel movement sometimes.
Be careful not to eat too much fiber. Keep it between 20 and 40 grams. 50+ grams of fiber in a day may actually have a reverse effect and cause constipation.
It’s amazing what fiber can do. If I eat a bowl of Raisin Bran, I can tell a differencee in bowel movements.
