What could be causing this weird bowel problem?
I'm a 16 year old girl, and have had a weird bowel problem for almost 4 years. I haven't told anyone about it because I really, really dislike doctors. I'm also embarrased to tell anyone. I highly doubt I'll tell anyone or go to the doctor anytime soon just so you know…
Almost every single time I use the restroom during the day I end up going #2. I usually feel like I just can't get it all out. It's really annoying, and I have to go to the bathroom more often than my peers. It's embarrasing. Luckily my crap usually doesn't smell that bad, because I don't crap a whole lot out at a time, so I don't think people really notice.
Let's say I wake up at around 6, and have to leave the house at 8. I usually will go #2 twice, if not three times before I leave. It's not like it takes a really long time for me to get out what I can, just a little bit longer than it would take me to pee. It's just really annoying that I'm always going to the bathroom.
What could be wrong with me?

a. food allergy
b. "c. difficile" or other infection
c. IBS
d. other

Maybe you have IBS or Irritable Bowel Syndrome. It could be caused by stress or anal sex.
Sounds like a very serious bowel problem and you really need to get it checked out befor it gets worse.
You might have irritable bowel syndrome…
or it's possible that your diet doesn't allow your bowels to regulate properly. try eating more greens and veggies
Your rectum is weird.
It could be a type of colitis or it could be something totally different. If you ever notice any blood that is dark in color, please let someone know. That could be very serious.
You probably are eating the wrong foods. You need more fiber. At your age, if you want to hide the fact, try getting your parents to buy orange juice with fiber in it. Otherwise buy it yourself or you can also get Metamucil. They have the powder mix and also the pills you can take. It really works and will help you go normal.
If you cant work that out, try eating more vegatables and fruits that are higher in fiber.
This could be a more complicated problem, but it almost sounds to me like you are experiencing something that is common in elderly patients known as "bowel obsession." (Or in other words you are worrying too much about it.) If there is no stomach pain or bloating accompanying your problem then that would be my guess. You should go to the doctor though.
Well first you need to go to the doctor. Trust me we all hate going but if you don't get something small taken care it can turn into something bigger. Like if you have an obstructive bowel fixed you could get cancer or die. Don't be embarrassed about going to doctors the have seen it all. But I would first try to drink more water. Try for a week to drink 8 big glasses every day. I that doesn't help call your family doctor and make an appointment.
Try getting more fiber into your diet, it may help regulate your bowel movements. If your bowel movements become difficult or painful try taking a mild over-the-counter laxative. As much as you're opposed to doctors, you should speak to one about this. Your doctor won't tell anyone, you'll probably never see him/her again until your next visit, and he/she won't be embarassed about it in the least - it's their job to fix problems and I can tell you right now they've heard of worse and more embarassing issues.
