Does having a bowel movement too soon after taking the birth control pill make it uneffective?

I know that throwing up or diarrhea within 3 hours of taking it makes it not work, but what about a normal bowel movement?

No, that is fine. The only thing you would have to worry about is if you vomit within an hour or so after taking your pill- that would have been too fast for it to be absorbed.

taking a poopp whenever you take your bith control is fine.. now when u take it and then throw up well, its obviously not going to be inside anymore which means it will not work, i mean you put the pill into the same hole that will be throwing up. so, yea, it wont work then but pooping no.. unless you put your bc inside your butthole.

So long as you’re taking the pill the traditional way and not shelving you should be good to go.

This has absolutely no effect……from what I have been told the diarrhoea needs to be quite severe to have an effect. If normal bowel movement had an advere effect on the pill, then it wouldn’t have the success rate that it does.
