Hemorrhoids look the same after hemorrhoidectomy?

Author: I just had hemorrhoid surgery (staple procedure) 2 days ago and just had my first bowel movement. Afterwards my hemorrhoids seem to be the same as before the surgery. Just as large and all. Someone please let me know if this is okay and normal, orif I need to go back to the hospital.

Looks to me a little bit too soon to have them back. I suggest to go back and tell them that the procedure wasn't successful.
Alternatively you can also try Rue Care Oil - brought good results also to sufferers where surgery wasn't successful.
I dont know but if your not sure you should go to the hospital

This time make SURE they put you on a stool softner. You can buy your own at the pharmacy, it'll be so much cheaper than getting them in the hospital, and just start taking them. It could very well be you "undid" the stapling when you had the first bowel movement.
When I had my first rectocel procedure it was ruined because I needed the stool softner and the nurses didn't start it when the doctor told them to.
Also increase your water intake by about 6 glasses a day to help everything pass comfortably.
