Can you use a colon cleanse product if you are breastfeeding?

Author: The product I bought is called Colon Clenz by Body Gold and it is supposed to be gentle. It says to take every day, but I want to take it once a week. Will it hurt my baby? I can call the doctor tomorrow, but I wanted personal experiences. Thanks in advance.

It gives me great pleasure to respond to your query. I'm honored that you asked this question of me. I would recommend that you try to cleanse your body as naturally as possible. Usually I don't encourage people to use any form of cleansers as they do more harm than good. Depending on your reasoning for the cleansing I would recommend that you try the raw fruit and vegetable diet for the weekend. It's a very powerful natural diet and only needs to be done on the weekend. Remember that cleansers are created to clean you out, take out any excess or backed up waste you have inside of your. However, due to the chemicals in them they also take out whatever good is in the way as well. Vegetables are high in fiber and does just the same thing. If you fill up on veggies (raw) you'll be surprised the amount of time you have to go to the bathroom. That is toxins coming out. That would be my best advice for you.
