I had a lung capacity test done at work last week. I am a member of the fire brigade and we have annual testing done. The Dr. told me that I passed it and had actually done quite well.The same results as last year. My problem occurs when I run. I have a hard time breathing. Shortness of breath, chest is tight and burning, and then I start coughing after I finally do catch my breath. Then I'm constantly clearing my dry throat. Can anyone tell me if this sounds like asthma?

I'm talking like smoking it at the very MOST once a week. Can that have a big impact on my asthma?

I just have normal asthma, it was not induced by smoking cigarettes. I had asthma before i started smoking cigarettes and then i realized that was a REALLY bad idea [durr].

so I'm just wondering how dangerous it will be for me to smoke marijuana.

My girlfriend of 5 years left me about 3 weeks ago, little did she know that i had bought and engagement ring for her. And about a week ago a cousin of mine died over seas in Iraq. Him and I were really close he was like a younger brother to me, we hung out together all the time he was pretty much my best friend, besides my old girlfriend. I have tried to get my girlfriend to come back to me but she just doesn't want to. Ever since she left I have been really depressed and everyone at my job notices a change in me, I just don't tell them cause its really not there business. I guess my question is is there a way to deal with depression without going to a counselor, or taking any pills? Am I able to go to something like a local rehad center? I am interested i knowing what you all have to say.

my 13 yr old sister wants to know why she has these dark circles and wrinkles under her eyes?
she is/has/does;
13 years old?
gets atleast 10 hours sleep
drinks plenty of water
very healthy diet

but everyone else her age does not have any wrinkles or dark bags and most of the other kids get very little sleep, smoke,drink, do drugs, wear loads of make up , dont eat/drink anything good for them.

why is this?
any soloutions (shes really annoying me about this)

athletes with asthma have a lot more challenges then normal athletes. so what do they do to control it? cause what i been doing hasn't been helping. how do the athletes over come their challenges?
