Can Sea-Snakes salt filtering glands aid in research to find more ways to convert salt water to drinkable wate?
Author: Just wondered. Was doing some animal research for a kids' book and noticed some sea animals have these strange "salt glands" that I gather act as filters. Thought the chemistry of these might be useful - though I am sure scientists are on top of it. Anyone know anything about this? I think it's so weird that saltwater is hard to filter into drinking water.

Im takin anatomy and physiology this quarter and i have to build all of the glands in the endocrine system. I have to make them out of something. i was thinking about sponges, but that too simple..i want to do something that involves food, but its kinda hard to associate the two….could you guys please give me some ideas or suggestions please….thanks
