What diet and exercise changes will i need if im going into a high altitude environment?

im going to new zeland for a ten day snow-boarding holiday with my school, and i need to know what diet and exercise changes i will need to make before entering this high altitude environment.

Does a low carb diet lower the amount of good bacteria in your gut?

If I go on a low carb diet, will it lower the amount of good bacteria in my gut?

Also, if I take probiotics, will they be able to be sustained in my gut on a low carb diet or will the probiotics be ineffective in providing benefits if I am on a low carb diet?

Diet!!! >=[ !!!?

Anyone have good tips for a diet and exercise? I'm 15 and i'm 130 pounds 5 foot 6 inches.
I was hoping to lose some weight because lately, i've been gaining weight, so i wanna look healthy by the summer.
Also, tips to STICK to a diet??? i can NEVER stick to a diet!! i always start a diet, and then i end up forgetting it.

PLEASE HELP!!! thnxx =] ?
also is there any way to speed up my metabolism???
any advice to keep weigth off after losing it??

Good Diet?

so im 15. 230lbs. 6ft. i recently lose 20lbs. i was 250.

now i exercise enough. active and play sports everyday. go to the gym. but the one thing missing is a diet. what should i eat in a day. like what type of foods to eat or not to eat?
i usually eat breakfast. some cereal or something. and lunch chicken or something like that. dont really eat vegetable or fruits. my trainer said that what i eat isnt at all a good diet, and i aint losing weight with just excersize alone.
